The Youngest Doll (Puerto Rico)

This story was a confusing story because of how the story is written. The time I was really teriffied was when I was a little kid and I tought I was lost in the store. One characteristic that all horror films share is trying to be the scariest film to be made.

The story of  "The Youngest Doll" begins with a girl who loved making dolls and as she grew she started making dolls for her neices. Each year as the nieces turned a year more the aunt made one new one to give to the nieces. The aunt did that until each niece got married. when the last one got married the whole story turned around and the youngest niece turned into a doll.

The Handsomest Drowned Man in The World (Colombia)

When I die I really wouldnt want a huge big funeral because I really wouldnt like that because I wont be alive to see how it looks. I would want a normal old fashion funeral with only family and friends to be there. why would anyone want a big funeral where people you dont know come and you wont be able to meet them because you're dead. This story really shows how Latin America treat their dead even if its a stranger they would still make him/her a big funeral.
"The Handsomest Drowned Man in The World" is a story about this dead man who was washed up on the shore. That man was a stranger to that village and to the other villages that were around there. The woman became obsessed with the dead man because he was so handsome. the mans funeral was the biggest one that village ever had.

No Dogs Bark (from Mexico)

"No Dogs Bark" a mexican short story that exlpains the caring heart of a father who want to save his sons life but also doesn't want him to be his son because of the hurt the son did to his mother. as the son and father together head for help they start knowing each other so much that they didn't hear dogs following them.

The parent I would be is a responsible, caring, and a fun parent. when my son/daughter becomes a teenager I will treat them like my parents treat me. with trust but still not let them go out alone because I trust them but not the people he/she hangs out with. In one way im similar to ignacio is that I would care fo my son but I would never tell him that hes not my son anymore. thats like telling him that you dont love him no more.

Border's (from Canada)

The "Borders" by Thomas King, was a short story of one womans ethnicity to where shes from. The native american blackfoot woman wanted to cross the U.S. border but she couldnt because the border patrol wanted to know her nationality. She kept on saying she was blackfoot but the patrol didnt except that. The story was just about the nationality and ethnicity about people and how they choose which is more important to them.

Ethnicity is more important then nationality for me because it makes me different from other people. where my family and I come from is really important to me because i get to learn about how my parentsd lived over there and how people live now. Living where my family came from is very different from here.
